News from the shop

love the hiking and waterfalls, the mountains and forests all around us -
since moving here in 2000 it has had an enormous impact on our work and creativity.
bring nature into every piece we create.
There are no duplicates, so every piece is unique, a one of a kind.
enjoy working with the wood, so gnarls, knots, and difficult grain can become the
best part of a carving or relief design.   Local landscapes have become a favorite choice for door panels.
The forest is full of carving details such as leaves, nuts, and pinecones.
These pieces are the accumulative effort of a 30 year marriage between an artist and a craftsman.
