The relief carving on the door is the first hint of what lies beyond
Natural log walls, the hardwood floor, and the
timber frame and plank ceiling give this room
a special warmth that only all wood can do.
Then we started adding special details. Did you
notice tucked in the fork of the maple tree is a
sleeping bear cub.
Matching maple leaf crowns trim all the doors and are the
prefect top
for the two sets of closet doors - whose trees will never
loose there leafs.
One door has a great horned owl checking on her three tiny
owlets in the nest.
The side rail trim for the doors and windows are designed to
look like part of the tree trunks
complete with branches for hat hooks and more. The windows
have complementing
carved corner blocks
